Well, I ordered this headset based on all the positive reviews and the product being rated #1 in bluetooth headset sales. When i got it, it looked really old and out of style(the design, not the product). The headset was huge!! A lot bigger than i thought judging from the pictures. I am sure it works great like many people said, but it just looks outdated.

It works great with my Motorola E815 cell phone as well as my Powerbook G4 with built-in Bluetooth. Occasionally, it drops the connection to the cell phone, but I am not sure if it’s the PLT510′s or the cell phone’s responsibility. That’s the only reason that it gets 4 stars instead of 5. Just buy it.

This unit is comfortable, does a great job blocking out the wind, and has a user-friendly battery life. I carry two phones sometimes, so the ability to use one headset with both (I think they call it multi-point technology) is a really nice feature. And, can’t beat the price for this level headset.

After trying several Motorola headsets, this Plantronics bluetooth headset is the best I have ever used. It has an ear bud in addition to a very comfortable mouthpiece and good balance on my ear. I would never use another brand.

Overall I am pleased. It is a little bulky. Overall sound quality is pretty good. I don’t know if its me or the headset or even the phone, but I can’t figure out how to turn down the ringer in the headset (volume button appears to have no effect)….LOUD. Works pretty well with both my cell phones at the same time (haven’t figured out how to hold one call on one phone, and answer the other in the headset yet though). Battery life is not bad, I can make it through an entire day (quite a bit of talk time) with out trouble. On/Off/Mute button is VERY difficult to manipulate by touch as is volume rocker. I would recommend this headset to anyone who needs to connect to 2 phones at the same time.
