For those not fixated on the touch screen phenomenon, this is by far the most surperior phone currently out. The Cellular Video program is one of the highlight features of this phone (which isn’t found in any IPhone). The design (leather back, brilliant screen) is simply high quality and all those rumors about the phone heating up and slowing down have been eliminated. Best of all, Amazon happens to have an incredible deal on this phone not found anywhere else.

I highly recommend both the Blackberry Bold and getting it with service from Amazon. AT&T could not match the price and there was no trouble in setting it up with the instructions Amazon sent. After using the iPhone for two years I was tired of all the typing mistakes. The Storm was not for me. With the Bold I can keep up with emails and work on documents, etc. without all the errors of touch screen keyboards. Also iTune classical music sounds far better on the Bold than it did on the iPhone.

I picked up the Blackberry Bold and new AT&T service after being a VZW customer for several years. This Blackberry is great, have had no major issues with the hardware or software. Software and OS is fast and responsive, and it’s easy to navigate menus and settings. My only gripe is that the ring tones and alerts are not completely customizable to my liking. Other than that I’m very happy with this phone. AT&T’s wireless service thus far has been great, comparable to VZW.

The Bold was the more practical choice. My colleague told me that he had to give up his I Phone b/c he couldn’t search his work email and that the I Phone would only store 200 emails. That was enough to convince me that I had to buy the Bold. Plus cyncing up to Microsoft Outlook was seamless. Surfing the internet is not as good as i phone, and I don’t have option to download as many fun apps with the Bold, but I am nonetheless super happy with it. The screen and speakers are great. I use the wifi access to get news updates and for that the Bold does a fine job. But unfortunately I can’t dowload things like you tube videos. So in sum, Bold is good for professional purposes and I phone is better for entertainment. If I Phone could provide better professional email access, I think my next phone would be the I Phone so I can get the best of both worlds. But until then, I’ll stick with Blackberry.
