I ordered the otterbox following shattering my iphone four. There are no problems with it protecting the phone, I like the mixture of rubber, tough plastic and also the screen protector. The red color is not dark. more like an orange red. My greatest complaint with this cover is the fact that the rubber hole and the plug Don’t LINE UP. It almost looks like it is opposite of exactly where it needs to be. It’s annoying, but I just flip up the rubber tab and insert the plug that way.

I lately received my OtterBox for my I-phone four. My only complaints are that the internal case isn’t sealed so pieces of lint and dust get between the iphone screen and internal situation window. Kind of annoying but i can live with it simply because the phone can survive a drop from an airplane without a scratch! Also the situation is a little larger than most ports on numerous devices. you have to take the situation off to connect it to a keyboard or speaker device or charging station etc. otherwise no issues with this situation.

This case increases the size of the iphone but I like it. I have dropped the phone twice since I’ve purchased this and the shock resistance was demonstrated when the music was nonetheless playing when I picked it up.

These cases are wonderful and don’t appear to add as a lot bulk as they did on the older Iphones (I have the four). Anyway could be afraid to use my phone with out it. The only issue may be docking with the case on won’t work with any devices I’ve attempted, so I just bought the dockstubz dock extender and issues solved.

My son recommended this instead of buying insurance against breakage. Works nicely. But bulky.I choose it as I felt the iphone was just a little small and delicate for my handling. Am comfortable with this. Had to buy a screen shield along with this.

I have a silicone case that’s really Speck fatigue, but it was too difficult to get out of his pants pocket. I still, and I used it to Disney World recently (no need to worry about falling!). The TL Commuter has hard plastic on the back, so I can slide it out of my pocket easily and parts of silicone rubber so it can better hold the phone. It ‘a good balance between the two, and I am very satisfied. I’ve had for over a month, and is the case that I use daily. I have not tried the screen protector that was included with the case.

This may be the best case I had for my iPhone. A well-designed cover the protection offered for ports and for the body. It is unusual because it has a good grip on the sides, with the first layer of protective silicon and the second layer helps to drive back to slide in and out of the case from his pocket. There is a slight indentation in the Apple logo (which is covered) that gives you something to put my finger ergonomic also help to stabilize the grip. Otterbox Well done!

I’ve been using this case for two weeks now and I’m extremely happy with its functionality. The case is made from soft leather and has a clip and belt loops, so you have two options for carrying it. The cover closes magnetically. There’s no need to fumble with velcro or snaps. When my iPhone is in the case, I can easily ensure that the sound is off with a quick glance. If I listen to music with earbuds, the iPhone fits in the case with the jack plugged in. There’s an opening for the jack. The case holds the iPhone in place securely, but you can push it out with your finger using the slot at the bottom of the case. I would highly recommend this case!

Should probably be called “leather-textured,” not textured leather. It’s some kind of vinyl or something, but holding up pretty well after about 1 month of intermittent use. The best thing about this is that it closes with two magnets (which don’t seem to interfere with the phone), so no loud Velcro noises.

This carrying case fits my needs for a carrying case. It holds the iPhone securely, makes the phone fairly accessable, and there is no worry about the phone coming dislodged from the case. The Apple case I bought with the iPhone sometimes slipped off my belt whenever I would sit down – at least twice without my immediate knowledge. Ihe last time it happened, my iPhone fell onto a restaurant parking lot as I got in my car,and lay there while I drove twenty miles down the road. The restaurant manager found the iPhone and contacted me to return and claim my phone; otherwise I would have had no need to order this item. The belt clip is quite stout; I prefer, though, to use the belt loops now. The price of the case was, including shipping, about 1/4 that of the item I bought at Best Buy, and it is much more to my liking. I’d buy another one if the need ever arose.

The BlackBerry Curve leather holster was a great price and just what my husband was looking for! It has a streamlined look, easy open top access and visibility. The magnetic strap automatically turns the phone off and on, saving on the battery and avoiding the dreaded unwanted calls to others who then hear all your surrounding noise and conversations while you have no idea the phone has called anyone.

This is the second one we purchased, although it’s the first one from Amazon. The first lasted about a year before the clip broke off. For the price we paid elsewhere, I think it should have lasted longer. But, the price was much better on Amazon and if we need to purchase another one in a year, I think it would be worth it if we get a similar deal.

I just got this case today for my T-Mobile Blackberry Curve 8320 so while this review may be a bit premature, I figured I’d never get around to doing one unless I do it now. The case looks and feels nice. The leather is of good quality but it’s a bit soft. The clip and swivel feel pretty solid so far. The whole case is a bit bulky so this is really only for wearing on your belt. If you flip it around and clip it in your front pocket, it bulks out too much to be comfy. I’d be self conscious of it sticking out. I also bought one of those generic skins and the BB fits fine in this holster even with the skin on. The elastic on the sides of the holster flexs enough to allow it to fit.

Both sides of the holster have a indent to protect the trackball but I find that putting the phone in backwards (screen facing the clip-side) works better. The backside has a long indented track (like the case that came with the blackberry) to protect the trackball but the front side has a fixed indentation point which only protects the trackball when it’s in its fully holstered and lined-up position. I find that putting it in with the screen facing out results in the phone activating and dialing the last call. Although the holster is suppose to disable the keypad and turn off the screen, it doesn’t quite work well with the phone facing frontward. I think it’s just that by the time the magnet sensor is in the right proximity to the phone, the buttons or trackball has already been pushed. Sometime I’ll put it in and the screen will go dark but then when the phone is fully inserted, the screen turns on again, then off again and then dials the last number! So, I’ll just have to stick to putting it in backwards where the trackball is protected the entire length of the holster.

I bought the OtterBox 3G Defender for my iPhone through their website, but I thought I’d mention how happy I am with it here. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the oil slicking effect under the membrane, but that problem was very easily solved, and hasn’t reoccurred since I placed my phone in the case for the final time. Calls are clear through it, and clear on the other end. I’ve heard a few people mention a tunnelling effect, but that doesn’t seem present. All my calls have been just as clear as they were in my last phone case. The OtterBox case is really protective, and of all the cases I’ve looked at so far, the sturdiest case for the iPhone 3G that I’ve seen. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a solid case for his or her phone. Well worth the money!

The OtterBox Defender performs as advertised. If you love your iPhone, but still want to carry it. This is the way to go. Yes it is a little larger than some lesser cases, for me a small price to pay. Sure nothing is as sexy & cool as a naked iPhone, but I can’t carry mine that way. I bought this for occasional severe duty use, but it hasn’t been removed since I put my iPhone in it. All the phone’s functions are accessible, even the sound is unaffected (The vibration may be a bit dampened). Yes the “oil slick” on the screen can be an issue, I just deal with it, not that I wouldn’t be happier if it went away, but a small price to pay. Also I’m not completely sold on the belt clip, but I have “trust issues” with belt clips and I haven’t used it much. I’m out & about in all sorts of conditions & circumstances, my phone goes with me. This case keeps it protected. I’m sure some don’t require the level of protection that this case offers. If you need a little less “armor” they do offer a very well made “skin” (I bought my wife one for her BlackBerry Bold she loves it, and she is very picky about form, feel & function) I promise I’m not on their payroll, these folks make a fine product.

Love everything about the Otterbox case. The combination of hard shell protection and soft gel comfort is tuff to beat. The gel cover doesn’t turn my pocet inside out and remove everything when I pull my phone out. This was with a problem with a previous gel case. Sound from speaker is not comprimised and the reception from through the ear is also satisfactory. The so called “water marking” from the protective cover making contact with the glass screen from the iphone is not distracting to me. This can be addressed by using a clear screen overlay for the glass, they are avaliable from many different vendors, I happened to have a couple since they are normaly sold in packs of 3-5. I haven’t had any problems with water marking since. Over all this is a great product no complaints what so ever, would recomend this to anyone looking for protection without comprimising functionality.

The case protects against shock and other damage, fairly well. It doesn’t do so well to protect against water, sand or other damaging compounds. The little tabs that cover the plugs don’t necessarily stay plugged in, especially the tab over the earphone jack. The film over the screen seems to make it slightly less sensitive to input, though I suppose that is to be expected. Overall, I like the product and use it.
